And contains this text: 1789 While spending their joint vacation in Aruba from the 8th to the 18th of May 1989, Claudia-Elisabeth Wulz, HB9CUY/FD1NYQ, and Naoki Akiyama, N1CIX/JH1VRQ, set up a station at the Manchebo Beach Hotel, which consisted of a Kenwood TS-440S transceiver and a Butternut HF8V-X vertical. In between their beach activity, sightseeing and get-togethers with local amateurs, they made a total of 4100 contacts with other amateurs in 110 DXCC countries. Special thanks to the Aruba Amateur Radio Club, particularly to P43IDP and P43WLP who backed up this DX vacation in various ways.
