And contains this text: Born in Boston, MA in 1901, Theodore Roosevelt McElroy "Ted" went to work for Western Union as a messenger boy at age 14. During WWI he was a civilian operator at Camp Devens, MA. Shortly after the war, McElroy went to work for WSO, one of RCA's transoceanic wireless stations. In 1922 he went back to Western Union as telegrapher and entered his first code copying & typing contest in Boston; McElroy won at a speed of 51.5 Words Per Minute (WPM).
