Project White Star was organised and ran by a combined effort of the Amateur Radio Clubs in Northern Ireland. The RMS Titanic sank on the 15th April 1912 on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York. She carried some 2,223 people on board of which 1,514 lost their lives.
