And contains this text: 1578 CYOSPI St. Paul Island is located 69 km SW of Newfoundland and 28 km off the coast of Cape North, Nova Scotia. The island received DXCC country status in 1976 due to its distance from the mainland. The Canadian Coast Guard keeps a manned light station there to protect mariners from its rocky shores. During our stay, the two lighthouse keepers, John and Arnold, were more than hospitable.
