And contains this text: Marshall Moran, born in 1906, was reared in Chicago's teeming west side, where he graduated from St.Ignatius High and later attended Loyola University. For pocket money he made receivers for the neighbors, later he worked summers in LaSalle Street, Chicago's financial district. This was superb training for a man who would become administrator of a large boys' school and one of the world's best known radioamateurs.In the fall of 1924 he entered the Jesuit order in St. Louis. On Oct. 12, 1929, he sailed for India to begin a lifetime career in Asia.
