Between 1933 and 1937, a second PTT model, with wooden base, was manufactured by DYNA. This key took the place of Dyna’s first model, the 1927 PTT key. JARDILLIER also made this model of key, maybe on behalf of DYNA. This second model PTT key, DYNA or JARDILLIER, does not have the familiar Dyna trademark. The key was originally made for the French Post Office, later used by the French Army and French merchant marine and then later also sold to radio amateurs. Note the protective disk (finger plate) under the knob and the similarity to Ducrete & Roger spark keys. The fingerplates on Dyna PTT 2nd model keys are black whilst the ones made by Jardillier are light brown in colour. Therefore this key was produced by Dyna.
